oh mother...

my mom doesn't listen. My mom swears this is the first time i've told her, but this is the 3rd time i've told her, i know this because she's having the same reaction as last time except worse. And i remember the same thing about last time, that she's having the same reaction and claims that i've never told her, and i remember telling her that time that i've told her before! She's just getting old, maybe too old. She forgets things. But it sucks that she swears she's right when she's the one who's losing it.

I didn't wanna be dragged out of the warm sun and the nice weather into the smokey dark. And I'm letting you play because i know you want to, and unlike you i let you do what you want. You didn't even tell me what you were dragging me into or ask if i wanted to come, cuz if i knew where you were bringing or if you bothered to ask, i would have told you.

this is a pic of funnel cakes and fried oreos i made either aat andy's house or camille's, can't recall. it was during my fry-crazy days when i fried alotta tish. i made a bunch of funnel cakes, fried oreos, i even fried brownies at one point. that happened when i baked brownies during a party at andy's and then there were crumbly brownie biits leftove}, bbut still a good amount. so i rolled up what was lefft into balls, dipped em in batter and fried em... THEN all the brownies were gone. my fried tish was a hiit that night. i caan'tt even remember if i tried any of the fried brownies, but i heard they were awesome. the ponce boys have been wanting me to fry stuff again since. i've been trying to think of what will be the new thing i fry, like some other sort of cookie. i have a bit of funnel cake mix left, i'm just waiting for the right time and place for it.
for our halloween party i'm thinking either dexter slides, minnie apples, or apple funnel cake.

toilet blog

i haven't toilet blogged in a while and thought i would do that this morning as i do my thang. anyways, that up there is tthe welcome card i made for nicoole and her fam when they moved from new york. it was my first attempt on a pop up card, i don't know what inspired the colors, but after i had worked on the card, i noticed one of the disney channel summer logos were the same color scheme. i thought the colors were fun and sunny and summer-y, so i thought it'd be a great way to reflect southern california. i had boat and palm tree stencil, although the palm tree stencil was very bland and abstract so i added details to the frongs which was alotta work. but i needed something to anchor them to the paper and bbring em up, so i drew out a philippine flag style half-sun to look like a sun set on the ocean behind the bboat and palm tree to bbring em out. the boat
and the tree aren't attached to the card itself, but to the sun by tabs i cut from the sun.

of course i did, i had a friend who used to always say "you're killing me smalls!", i loved sandlot as a kid, i just wasn't sure if u were referencing that movie, cuz i coulda sworn u were like ONE when it came out hahaha
